The “Dimitrios Kelekis” Athenian Days of Interventional Oncology is
established as one of the key meetings of the Greek interventional community,
honouring the legacy of Professor Dimitrios Kelekis and his pioneering
contribution to interventional radiology in Greece.

The 2024 edition covered advances in image-guided tumour ablation,
transarterial therapies and the growing role of interventional oncology
within multidisciplinary cancer care. Sessions combined lectures from
invited faculty with case-based discussions, and were delivered in a hybrid
format allowing remote participation alongside the on-site programme.
