It is with great pleasure that we announce the establishment of the 1st Hellenic Stroke School, a new national institution dedicated to advancing collaboration and expertise in the management of acute ischemic stroke, with particular emphasis on endovascular thrombectomy.

The 1st Hellenic Stroke School aspires to provide:
- Unified and modern training for Radiologists
- Hands-on experience and advanced tools for Interventional Radiologists
- Specialized knowledge and guidance from Neuroradiologists and Endovascular Neurosurgeons
- A shared educational framework uniting the Radiology and Neuroradiology Medical Community, in close collaboration with Neurologists and Internists who are the first to assess these critical cases, ensuring rapid and effective diagnosis and treatment of stroke
The creation of this institution represents a significant investment in patient safety and in the scientific preparedness of physicians across disciplines.
